Vancouver Swap Meets – March 2009
Any one who Jams with us here at the Dad Jam knows we are big Swap Meet fans. If you are looking to get rid of your kid’s old stuff, make some cash, and have some fun in the process, Swap Meets are the way to go. Or, if you are looking to get some “gently used” clothes, toys, or accessories for your child, at great prices, Swap Meets are the place to be.
This March 2009 is a good month for Swap Meets in Vancouver. I’m sharing our list of Swap Meets that we plan on visiting this month. These Swap Meets all take place in Vancouver, BC, but if you are interested in Swap Meets in Langley, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, or elsewhere in the Greater Vancouver Region, check out the following page: http://www.kidsvancouver.com/index_swapmeets.htm.
By the way, before you attempt to set foot in a Swap Meet, or if you think a Swap Meet is a place where butchers go to exchange racks of lamb (in which case it would actually be called a “Swap Meat,” by the way), please check out the Dad Jam’s Swap Meet Survival Guide. It is essential reading on getting good, cheap, stuff for your kids, and living to tell your future grand kids about it.

I have to admit, I never considered doing swapping as an option for kids clothes. This is a great blog…i’ll let people know about the dadjam.com.

Thanks Vincent (nice name by the way ) Yes, swap meets are a great idea, they are good for the environment because of the reuse, and very economical at the same time. And, they benefit both the swapper and the swappee!
Hi is it possible to e-mail an update list of community centers
of swap meets that are happening
Thank you
Desi
